Noble Street Charter School is governed by the Noble Network of Charter Schools Board of Directors. The Noble Network’s Board of Directors includes up to 25 seasoned business and professional men and women with many years of not-for-profit and/or school operational experience. Click here for a list of current directors. The board is responsible for setting broad organizational policy, fiscal oversight, and hiring and evaluating the Superintendent & COO. Directors are elected to one-year, renewable terms. Directors sit on three committees:
- Real Estate & Facilities
- Audit Finance
- External Relations
The board meets at least six times a year. Directors receive more frequent financial reports and superintendent reports.
Ron Manderschied, President & CEO, and Michael Milkie, Superintendent & COO, are voting members of the Board. Additional Noble Network executive staff members include:

The Noble Network of Charter Schools, dba Noble Street Charter School, received its charter and was incorporated in the State of Illinois in 1998, and received an IRS 501(c) 3 designation in March 1999.
